Summer Preliminary Task

During our summer preliminary task we have came across many difficulties and therefore was not able to product a quality project, the reason for this was because the group that we were in was too big and therefore this has increased the number of difficulties which meant that meeting as a whole group was hard which lead to unorganized footage shoots. There were also some conflicts within the groups and this has made the group split into two which also added to the difficulty as the original plan of the video involved most of out group members to act as actors in the video.
However coming closer and closer to the deadline we knew that we had to produce something, so we had to improvise and make a new story line for a new video. The music that was chosen wasn't the best of all however it had to do if we were to get this done; so we carried on and filmed footage which then was edited in one day. We were not able to plan anything and therefore we were also not able to obtain a tripod which meant that the camera was shaky throughout the video.The footage had to be shot in one day and therefore the character was wearing the same type of clothing all the way throughout the video which plays around with the codes and conventions of normal music videos in which the main actors wear lots of different clothing. There was also a problem with the editing as we had to use a simple editing software which was iMovie this program did not allow us to make a very sophisticated video however it had got the job done; and even though the video was not lip synced with the words fully we were pleased with the result from such a short period production time.
